Description
The ultimate in structural strength, GRP sandwich panels are effectively made by bonding 4mm anti-slip flooring sheets to the top and bottom of a sheet of standard mesh grating. The added rigidity makes it the ideal solution for vehicular access and can be used to bridge trenches and gullies with confidence. Weighing considerably less than a steel or concrete equivalent, it costs far less to transport and install, and is much longer-lasting making it a sustainable choice. Bolt into place using dome washers to minimise any trip hazard.
It maintains all the inherent benefits of GRP including low-maintenance, corrosion-resistance and chemical-resistance and provides weather-proof protection for what lies beneath. If a truly water-resistant cover is required, choose SafeSlabHD which has interlocking panels that can be sealed. Our Solid Top, Solid Bottom panels are stocked in two depths – 46mm (38mm open mesh plus two layers of 4mm sheet) and 18mm (14mm mesh plus two layers of 2mm) – but can be produced to your specifications if required – panel size, depth and even colour.
