GRP Structural Profiles
A cost effective, alternative to steel, aluminium and timber, Step on Safety’s Universal GRP Structural Profiles offer excellent corrosion resistance and durability. GRP Structural Sections are used in many industrial applications including riser flooring, access platform walkways, pedestrian bridges, steps & walkways, worker access to machinery, manufacturing plants, water treatment works, offshore wind & oil facilities and many railway trackside and depot applications.
Lightweight fibre glass does not require heavy lifting equipment making it easier and cheaper to transport and install. Pultruded composite profiles are high impact tolerant, chemical resistant, lightweight and fire-resistant with low electrical & thermal conductivity.
Our GRP Profiles
Our GRP profiles with a wall thickness of more than 5mm are high-performance E23 grade, while those at 3-5mm are E17 grade. Profiles are manufactured from a glass-reinforced isophthalic polyester resin with a smooth, weather-proof surface that never needs painting. Supplied directly from stock in 6m lengths as standard.
